Great to meet you!

First and foremost: I genuinely care about the people I work with. I don’t see you as a diagnosis or a problem to fix—I see a full, complex person who deserves care that honors your story, your strengths, and your humanity.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach, which means I’ll always consider how your past experiences, environment, relationships, and body may be impacting your mental health. I won’t rush to medication or label; I’ll take time to get to know you and co-create a plan that reflects your values and goals.

I also want you to know that:

  • I respect your autonomy—I’ll always involve you in decisions and never push a treatment you're not comfortable with.
  • I welcome all parts of you—your fears, your questions, your setbacks, your hopes.
  • I honor the courage it takes to ask for help—and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Welcome to True North Psychiatry and Wellness

About Me

I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I believe healing happens in safe, authentic relationships. My role is to listen without judgment, to support without pressure, and to help guide you through your mental health journey with empathy, respect, and clinical expertise.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready for change, know that you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you, at your pace, toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

What you can expect from our first session

Here’s what you can expect to take away from our work together:

  • 🧭 A deeper understanding of yourself – Your symptoms are only one part of the story. We’ll work to uncover root causes, patterns, and strengths to support true healing.
  • 💊 Clear, collaborative guidance around medication – If medication is part of your plan, I’ll provide education, options, and ongoing support so you feel informed and in control.
  • 🧠 Tools to manage stress, anxiety, and mood – We’ll integrate practical strategies you can use in everyday life, including mindfulness, cognitive techniques, and nervous system regulation.
  • 💬 A safe space to process – Whether you’ve experienced trauma, loss, or just feel stuck, I hold a nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome.
  • 🌱 A holistic roadmap for healing – Together, we’ll look at lifestyle, habits, relationships, and mind-body connections to create sustainable, whole-person care.
